Kenilworth Spirits

Kenilworth Castle in Warwickshire, originally built in 1122 as a Norman Castle by Geoffrey De Clinton. It is the largest ruin in England, and although it has lost its most striking feature; a kilometre long lake that once surrounded the castle during medieval times; you can still see the red sandstone remains of John of Gaunts Great Hall, the buildings of Robert Dudley that were built for Queen Elizabeth I visits, as well as restored Tudor gardens.
The castle was partially destroyed by Parliamentarian troops following the civil war. Over the following years it had been neglected and fell further into ruins with also the lake draining away, but in 1938 the castle was bought and saved for the nation.
There have been numerous sightings of spirits within the grounds of the castle, one of a knight that wonders the grounds and also a grey lady. My brother and his wife visited the castle late one night to take photographs, when we got them developed we were amazed by the images that we captured; on the photographs you can see on this page, ectoplasmic mist can be seen and images of faces can clearly be seen on both photos. Photograph Fig.2, you can see images of faces, probably female, in the top right hand corner, the faces can be better seen if the photo is rotated upside down.

On photograph Fig.1 above, you can make out the image of a face wearing a helmet, probably a knight? They took these photographs on a very clear night and the ectoplasmic mist in the photos is definitely not fog or another, the mist also shows up on the negatives, they were using a standard 35mm camera at the time.
